The J. Francis Cooke Winter Classic

J. Francis 'Fran' Cooke is a former Parkwoods Hockey League President and was the driving force behind the development of the Winter Classic. Upon his retirement in 2024, the Executive Committee renamed the Winter Classic in his honour to recognize his extraordinary leadership and service to the organization.
